The Basketball Hall of Fame is an entertaining, museum-like tribute to the great players, coaches, referees and other figures from throughout basketball's illustrious history. Set in a sleek, reflective basketball-shaped building, it features fun interactive exhibits like an official basketball court that visitors can shoot on, and an array of rare memorabilia ranging from the jersey Christian Laettner wore during his historic NCAA championship victory with Duke, to the gameboard Tennessee coach Pat Summitt used to diagram the winning play for the 1996 national championship. The Hall resides in the South End neighborhood, to the south and west of Springfield Cemetery.
